Glen Osberg was born in 1941 in Hartford, Conn., and graduated from East Hartford High School in 1959, where he was a member of the Student Council and the International Relations Club. He also played golf. He received a B.A. degree in government in 1963 from Norwich University, where he was on the Dean’s List. He joined the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant and served two years’ activity duty and four years in the reserves as an armor/infantry officer. Glen spent his business career with IBM Corporation in various manufacturing and headquarters locations. He held numerous management and staff positions that were multi-discipline in nature with a special focus on international manufacturing and asset/inventory management. He retired in 2011. He and his wife Linda live in Darien and have four children and 13 grandchildren. He is a member of the Darien YMCA, the Darien Boat Club, the Silvermine Golf Club, the Norwich University Alumni Association, the United Way and Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys golf, fishing, boating, working out, reading, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
