Member Trips

Several times each year the Special Events Committee organizes trips for members, who often invite their spouses or friends. These are usually all-day trips with luncheon included in the price. Examples of past and future trips include:

· Musical revivals at Goodspeed Opera house in East Haddam

· Moodus CT Jazz Festival

· West Point Football at U.S Military Academy

· Pequot Museum and the Groton Submarine Base

· United Nations in NYC

· Show at Westchester Broadway Theatre

· Rockefeller Estate at “Kykuit”

· Belmont Park horse racing on L.I.

· Bridgeport Bluefish baseball game

· LI Sound Brunch Cruise

Popular December event with luncheon, music, and dancing at a local country club.

SMA June Picnic
A large, sociable crowd of members, wives and friends flocks to Weed Beach grounds and enjoys a great variety of delectable supper dishes prepared by our ladies.
